Prepare the walls
The first step for this project is to prepare the walls. Make sure that the walls are ready for the wallpaper. Take time to remove all the nails, screws and hooks on the wall. You should also cover the electricity outlets and the water outlets with tapes. Remove all the old wallpapers on the walls and smoothen the cracks on the wall.
Measure the wall
Before starting the application process, you should measure the wall and determine the wall size in width and height. This will inform, your decision in determining the number of chevron pattern wallpaper that will be used.
Mark a Guide Line
Start with one side of the wall and work all the way to the other side. The first thing in this case is to mark a Guide line from the left corner which serves as the guide for the first strip.
Install the first strip
Peel the backing off the paper and start applying the peel and stick wallpapers from the ceiling. Leave an extra space on the top of the ceiling. It’s very important to install the first strip straight and mark the wall.
Smooth and trim

Apply more strips

Wallpaper corners and tricky areas
When applying the peel-and-stick wallpapers, you will come across some tricky areas that are hard to approach. In this case, you should lay the paper to the next wall for the corners. Now meet up the patterns at the edges and eventually press it gently with the brush. When the wall is correctly lined to the corner, you can use a small knife to make the incision.
