How to Make an Aloe Bath Bomb
If you want to dabble in bath bomb-making, you may want to start with an aloe bath bomb. Aloe is an uncomplicated, gentle, and moisturizing ingredient that you may want to work on while giving you something to look forward to for your next bath!
- 1 cup sodium bicarbonate (baking soda)
- ½ cup citric acid
- ½ cup sodium lauryl sulfoacetate (SLSA)
- 0.5 oz aloe extract
- Clean and fresh fragrance oil of your choice
- Green soap colorant (optional)
- Witch hazel spray
- Round, small, silicone soap molds
- Large glass bowl
- Measuring cups
- Rubber or plastic gloves
- Surgical mask
- Flat surface
- Wear gloves to protect your nail polish (if you do have some) and your surgical mask.
- In a large bowl, combine citric acid and baking soda. Use your hands to break up clumps. Since citric acid can take off nail polish, it’swearing gloves is best.
